The Frigidaire 5303918476 and 241508001 Adaptive Defrost Controls (ADC) have been discontinued by the manufacturer. This kit was developed and manufactured privately for an appliance service company as a means to save refrigerators that otherwise would be non-repairable. All controls and functions of the refrigerator will remain the same. Professional use is recommended but it is easy enough for a handy do-it-yourselfer to install. Detailed instructions are included.

Frigidaire manufactured a few different versions of the ADC. This kit replaces the popular "ADC II" version, which can be identified by the white box AND two-switch damper. (See listing images) Your refrigerator must have the two-switch damper with both switches connected as shown.

If your refrigerator has an orange box ADC, unboxed circuit-board ADC, single-switch damper or two-switch damper with only one switch connected, then you have a different ADC version and this kit will NOT work. If you are unsure or have a question or please use the contact seller messenger.
